Great news indeed. Casting-sharing is something I've been involved in for years now and it works. I have no idea what kits some of the cast parts on my Galactica came from and I'm happy to keep it that way. It works for all parties involved- no valuable info needs to be released if that is required by the kit owner and the builder benefits from the parts.
Man, I'd love to see some pics of the parts if you can manage it. I have no idea if this kit is used for BG stuff. I'd appreciate it.

It has been suggested that an update be given... so that everyone know that we have not gone quietly into the night....lol.
The guys are doing well and are almost close to complete on the ID'ing and obtaining of the model kits necessary to complete an SS Slave as there were a few more items that came into question. And we do want to be accurate, eh? They are a great and talented group indeed.
Since MR has legal license and will be releasing their SS Slave sometime this year, (which is exciting in itself ), what the group does with ours may be limited to itself. However,.. the parts lists, pics and placements (and possibly the individual parts themselves) may be made available to all when it all is completed and the group has a few built up for all to view.
The "parts bank" idea is still being reviewed and decided upon how it can be done and handled effectively.
I am very proud of the group with their openess and teamwork that continues to take place regarding the projects at hand.
Kudos fellas.
In this line of thinking,.. there is no need to wait for us as there is much that ALL can do to forward creative sharing. A step in the right direction for everyone. As Nike's old slogan stated, "JUST DO IT" A good philosophy. Or there is Capt. Picard's statement of "MAKE IT SO." It is we that control our destiny in everything we do. So.. GO FOR IT...

Kurt thanks for posting that sir, its good to share and im glad you put this up.
Its nice to say we havent given up yet chasing the Firespray dream, things have slowed somewhat as the closer we get, the harder it gets so to speak.
The whole team has worked (and is still working) damn hard at this, but one gets so blinded that at times you just cant see the forest for the trees lol.
I think it would be cool to pool the info and share it out when were all done, sharing is caring lol.
