And how was it? Did it tie into anything else?

They have a very long trailer out and it doesn't appear to be tied in with Spider-man or any other Marvel character which has me scratching my head and saying, "Why"?

It's because this movie is a part of Sony's Spiderverse which is MCU adjacent but not a proper part of the MCU. It fits in with the Venom movies and Morbius, movies that feature members of the Spidey's rogues' gallery but no Spidey himself.

I've seen both Venom movies and Morbius and they're not bad for what they are. They're superhero lite movies that aren't a part of a bigger universe full of superheroes, more like the old DC movies than the MCU.
