Lots. but I'm not sure how many would want to start from the ground up so too speak. as I have a lot of parts and real part's. a metal frame. hell I would want two or three would be major..

There Is something you have to consider here. just buying the frame of a real pistol Is the same as buying the whole gun as far as the law Is concerned. so you may want to check to see how to go about this properly.. If there was no through wall hole for a firing pin mechanism. I would think it would be alright..but I have no clue..

Coyles kits have a metal frame, it's pewter, but still metal. He doesn't seem to have any issues. I'll have to see what the frame of the Takagi looks like.

This Is true. but I could not take the pewter frame and turn It Into something that actually fired. may fire once but that would be It. and you would probably be missing at least a hand. what your considering.I could take and buy actual part's with no restriction's and turn It into a non registered working weapon...

Hmmm.... Do most of these prop boasters even have a firing pin? I guess if this was to take place I would have to make sure there's o capacity for any sort of firing mechanism. Might have to check in a few things as well. First I have to get the gun from Japan.

I talked to Rick Coyle, and he says it's not an issue making an aluminum frame. Just time consuming and you need CNC equipment. When the gun finally gets here, i'll post about it.

Yeah...Rich is a great wealth of knowledge... hrs explained to me in great detail how to do many things...I don't have the machines or skills to do CNC work...or I would already have been pumping out my own all metal versions awhile ago!!!

Hard anodizing aluminum looks pretty close depending on the color you choose.

Well aluminum beats pewter In my book. so I'm good with that. haven't tried aluminum black yet. and since the revolver body Is mostly covered. just a darkening would serve my purpose. everyone seems to like the shiny look nowadays' . I like the blued version's..

Agreed. I like the black/dark versions. Besides in the movie it was so dim all the time the gun looked black most of the time anyway. If anyone is going to pick one of these up, I'd do it soon. I'm getting people asking me from other forums where I got mine. There were only 5 available.
