Maybe I should've removed my barrel, too. Instead, I opened up the throat of the attachment with a dremel sanding drum.
Does your lower rail section mate up perfectly with your trigger guard?
No, it's slightly off but no biggie.
I used these paints, (from left to right) Rustoleum 7515 Aluminum, Rustoleum 7776 Flat Black, and Rustoleum 1906830 Clear Laquer Finish.
Depending on your cold weather conditions, warm the cans up in warm water. Don't boil them!

Lowe's did not have the clear lacquer, only enamel. That's silly. Walmart did, however. Bought two cans.
I've always had great results with the Rustoleum professional series. Hopefully the lacquer won't let me down!
I am interested in getting the barrel, is it still available?

Yes, they are still available, but based on What Dann has experienced, I would say it might fit, but it seams like cutting off the barrel is the best option. Especially if the 6" and 4" are the same except for barrel length, then you should be ok.
Put the new screws in the new holes on the right side.
Went with 6-32. The spacing is a little off, but overall I'm happy.

I may clean her up a little, I added quite a bit of weathering, including some burnt sienna in the grips and other places.

Would love to sang a barrel and do a build to match my airsoft DL44 kit.

Yes it does. As long as you cut the screws to the right length, where they don't interfere with any moving parts.
And I highly recommend filling and redrilling the holes on the right side, like I did.
They need to be lower than where Wondersquid put them. That was my only issue with the kit. He really did a lovely job!

I'm interested in getting a holster/gun combo, but don't see a link to it on the front page of the thread. Is this still going? The combo is listed as being sold out on Legendary's website.
