JURASSIC WORLD Owen Grady Costume

You know what? The pants could be J Brand. I'll do some searching, but just thought I'd throw that out there. The color, fabric, and fact that there aren't any identifying marks (pocket details or otherwise) screams J Brand to me. Also the fact that Pratt wears that brand off screen. At any rate, I'll keep you posted.

EDIT: not necessarily these, but something similar. http://www.lyst.com/clothing/j-brand-kane-twill-pant-in-charcoal/

The Dockers have a seam line across the rear pockets; the screen used don´t.
The Gaps seem to not have extended stitching on the rear pocket, but they look identical otherwise.

I don't have much to contribute to this thread except to say that I'm pretty certain that the soles on the boos are Virbrams, they have the right look to them and seem to match the Vibram Roccia sole, just remove or cover the Vibram logo in the middle and you'd be good to go. The good thing about Vibram soles is that they're widely available and many companies use them on their shoes and boots, the best part is that you can buy replacement Vibram soles, just look for a cobbler that carries them and/or resoles boots and shoes.

I think as you do; they just resoled the boots they had; which in my opinion it´s very likely are "Eastland Daily Double Brown Chelsea" boots heavily distressed (that gives the nobuk look). They match with the displayed ones on the flat sole. Just when the soles were visible onscreen they had at hand a pair with Vibrams. The yellow squre is very easily removed (or painted).
edit: I´ve just found a Vibram Roccia Vintage sole without the yellow emblem.

This makes sense as when Chris Pratt was in a running scene, he said it was slippery. It wouldn't have been slippery if he was wearing the Vibram soles, but if he was wearing the regular boot soles he would slide on the mud much easier.

I just ordered a pair of the Eastland Daily Double Brown Chelsea boots! Woot woot. I needed a pair of boots anyway.

For anyone interested in the Old Navy pants, I went to yet another location today, and tried on a total of 12 pairs. I had to do this, because I realized as I was going through them there are 4 different kinds all mixed together. There's two pairs that button like regular cargo pants, and two pairs that button like dress pants with an eye hook. Within those variations, there were also two color shades available. With the final pair I tried on I found a size that worked, because some of the combinations have VERY slim fitted legs.

I ended up getting the pair on the left, which were a bit more loose in the legs and had a better fit in the waist. I kind of liked the color better on the right pair; however they once again didn't have my size in those.

Those are the wrong pants. Those are a trouser-style. Grady's are a classic 5-pocket style similar to jeans.

These are the correct style Old Navy offers. But you'll have to track them down in store as they're on clearance and have been for awhile so they wouldn't be online. You'll be lucky to find a pair in store at this point.

I knew they combined two shoes....again! what's with these costume designers can't they just stick with one pair :facepalm nice find though do you think they went with the olive suede option on those eastlands? colour looks identical.

EDIT: actually looking at the stitching colour the dark brown ones have the correct colour stitching.

What do you think?
Eastland Daily Double Brown Chelsea Boot.
The display boots don´t seem to have the vibram style threaded soles.

I think you're on to something here. Style and stitching is really, really close. As is the elastic pattern on the sides. And that toe is way close to what I was referring to with it being closer to a more pointed rounded Roper cowboy boot toe. Actually the more I look at it, the more the sole on the boots in the manikin photo looks like the sole on the Eastland Daily Double Brown Chelsea Boot. The tread soles don't get like that even when worn down heavily. I bet they had two pairs of the same style boots with different soles for multiple purposes. Replacing a sole on a boot would fit right in line with what productions do for costuming when they alter existing pieces to fit with what they want.

Hey guys! I'm gathering people interested to start a run of the leather vest, it's gonna be completely screen accurate in case you guys want to get in. I never know if you are allowed to post links here of classifieds but it'll be in the project run section ;)

The Eastland boots come in Chocolate. Which color wise matches the mannequin perfectly

View attachment 493842

although the stitching is lighter on the mannequin than these. EDIT: check their website and the stitching is the lighter version in fact so chocolate is good. :thumbsup not just to eat either :p.

And for those thinking they look like nobuk;
Gunsmoke color
Though the elastic material is different.View attachment 493845

those are the suede ones i believe, gunsmoke is only mentioned on amazon not on their official website.
