Jurassic Park

Well I did want my own thread to maintain some sort of cohesion throughout my work and allow a somewhat online record of things, I was not aware they keep it to one thread per movie.
Sorry guys but I don't feel like sorting through a large amalgamation of other peoples threads and posts to find replies and such to my own comments. I'll just post items when I've finished them completely. :)

So you deleted your posts here because mods told you to stick to the rule: "one thread for each movie"? Strange... If every single member in this thread that contributed artwork here had their own thread, their would be dozens of Jurassic Park threads, which would be complete chaos. I don't understand your point here...

Does anyone have PDFs (or know where I can get some) of the Dino Spec sheets from The Lost World?

My request got kind of swamped by the move of Corkbottle's thread so I figured I'd repeat it. Sorry if that's annoying.
PM me if you're willing to sell the files or whatever unless you're kind enough to share.
Thanks!

Re: Jurassic Park - by Corkbottle

The T-Rex mark was a hologram background sticker over the corner of the photo. That is what they are trying to represent with the rainbow background in the concept art.
They had ID tags and a Raptor Prod/Taser at the traveling exhibit I think at Science Place in Dallas back in 1993 and I forgot my camera. :cry
I am pretty sure the red lines were present on the wordmark. I think that detail would have stuck with me as well if they were different from all the JP merchandise available at the time.

Here's a blurry cap of Muldoon's ID. It makes me think the T-Rex mark is just black on blue.

Unfortunately, none of the screencaps I have is clear enough to show whether the red lines in the center of the JP wordmark are present or not. I think the only time we see the wordmark 'solid' is on the gate. Though it is missing in the concept art, that simply might be an oversight. I don't think the InGen logo on the ID tags (or the concept art of the chopper) matches what's seen on the side of the chopper in the film.

I thought I was the only one who remembered that travelling exhibit. I remember seeing one of the egg incubators and nothing else... Of course, that was along time ago.

To have an original id in 1996 (belonging to a mechanician character) I sold it for a long time, and I can tell when no event was a hologram sticker, much less than the JURASSIC PARK logo possessed inside red but black, all these details summers on simple id contained but at any point identique of the models versions of Robert Muldoom and Dennis Nedry.

I went to the exhibit at the Museum in Golden Gate Park S.F.
I remember them having the night vision goggles and a few other items, maybe even an ID.
Sadly I didn't have a camera with me.

To be honest I have no photos and no scan, only my memory, I had purchased this item has a specific vendor and sold 2 or 3 years later rained, I'm not really interested in the world of JP or other, there are my children having fun to redo some objects.

My memories are precise enough for them to make them as close as possible.

and anyway the FHD captures of the film more than enough to see the details

So in my search for JP stuff (specifically the dino sheets from TLW) I stumbled upon: Jurassic Park: The Game Deluxe Edition.
I had never seen this before and it looks like it comes with a plethora of awesome extras.
One being a replica badge. From what I can tell it seems to be a direct copy from the film.

It also comes with a "InGen Field Guide" that has a good image of the badge on page 32.

I know that most of the stuff isn't directly from the movie but I was wondering if anyone had this/seen it/played it? I'm thinking I might just have to track a copy down.

Edit: I see now that some people have mentioned it... sorry if this is a repost of something from earlier.

That board game ID looks really clean. Pretty accurate to the concept art, too. I wonder if the grayscale T-Rex icon is meant to suggest a hologram? They certainly had blue or color available to them, if they wanted to use it.... Even copied the odd white space around the InGen logo.

You'll also note the slight inconsistency of using two different InGen logos: the one on the badge, and the one in the upper corner of the instructions.

Again there is a concept art has nothing to do with the film versions
watch the movie again made of freeze frames, slow motion and other shots you will see the badges of the film are significantly different.

I think you're wrong. After looking at both they seem pretty darn close to me. In fact, everything I can find about the game says they were patterned after the movie versions.
While they might not be exact I find your use of the word 'significantly' significantly flawed.

I think you do not know what you mean, again observe many film shots (if you have that I do not think), the attachment just the black rectangle is far too long, and blue and yellow patterns are too low. do not talk about things you do not know.

See this screenshot found on the net, and already you will see that you are wrong completely and the card of the film is printing on photo paper and laminated, this is a badge is not in plastque, a little common sense before you speak
