Jurassic Park

I'm making some additional revisions to the layout based on this screen capture. Mainly making changes to the top left corner where there are two dark rectangles, presumably with text inside.

Also, the more I look at it, the more it seems like this is actually a large wide piece of paper that has been folded in half. So, we're only able to see the left half of it. In later scenes, some close up shots make it seem like that's the case.

I always loved the birth certificates given out at Islands of Adventure in Orlando during the raptor hatching. I received one in February and reworked it to make it a little less Universal Studios specific

Heres an established prop cover that I made a few alterations to. Hope you all like it

My latest work in progress: Detailed blueprints of the Visitor's Center interior and exterior. My prints are based on the screens we see at the end of the film when the computer system is coming back online. The print is still a work in progress. I still need to add/change some details and modify some of the text. The final blueprint will be 24" x 19" 300dpi.

Very cool! great work.

Wow. How oddly fortuitous. I just grabbed two flat file drawers from my office that match the ones opened by Hammond in the bunker scene. Maybe I need to print a few of these out and keep them in there.

If you don't mind mind me asking, why are you going for 24*19? In my experience these would be 24*36. Or even 36*48 (For instance Disneyland uses 36*48, and even Hammond compared the park to Disneyland)

I'm honestly not sure why I picked that size. Just seemed to look best. I have some blueprints at my office that are 21"x15", but I wanted something a little bigger. I might actually print one of these at 21x15 to see how that size looks. My original idea was to make this as something that could be framed, and 24x36 just seemed too large for that.

Although, if someone wanted one to use as a prop replica, I suppose larger would be better.

Any hi res visitor center logos? I need it for my sons birthday party.

Just a warning. There is someone on ebay selling one of my brochures as "screen-used." There are tells I put in there so I could recognize my brochure. I won't say what they are, but this is 100% printed from the file I created:

And it's not true that I corrected the distorted T-Rex. I redrew the T-Rex vector specifically to duplicate that element/flaw of the originals.

Thank you. I love the WWN :)

I have a few pages pinned to my cubicle wall at work, including this one.

This is an internal poster made by Silicon Graphics (SGI) 22+ years ago. It was very hard to find. I defy you to find it at this resolution anywhere on the internet.

I present it here to commemorate the 22nd anniversary of the release of Jurassic Park.

You are so right. It is an excellent film.

On a related note, here are my paper prop replicas from the novel The Lost World.

Thanks, Mike!

Here is a scan of a Visitor Badge that was attached to a JP cap I bought in 1993.

The Making of book has concept art of the JP staff ID badges, and a Visitor badge. I'm pretty sure the Visitor badge doesn't show up in the film, but here is a Visitor badge being worn by a crew member on set.
