First coat of green, I’ve gone with Buckingham green , let’s see how it comes out. It takes 6 hour between coats so had time to make the forks and stain the walnut, walnut ?

Find on eBay period correct old stock jute cord. Bought all he had. Which mean for the others I’ll need my mind to invent a winding machine

The rope winding machine should be no problem for your fertile mind! Just look at the forks, figure the length of the wind, make a stanchion, put in the forks and add a crank handle. Easy peezie!

Spent the day making amo box’s with some temporary card but forgot to flip the graphics . Got some of the bits for the harpoons , got new ball ended nuts for the folks. Made me cringe not crimping the cable properly but that’s the way it’s done in the movie.

I bought a copy on eBay I'm sure there are some pages missing or there are just more than one version.

Sprayed the final coat of green, cut the recoil pad to size. My work shop is now covered in rubber. Time for a list of finishing parts and then list of corrections for the final version.

that where I got mine from I think but they lie when they say its been lovingly restored its like a bad photo copy when I get time I'm going to make a fresh copy in illustrator. PS anyone got clues on fonts let me know its a subject I know very little about as I still use comic sands on my drawings
