Jaws Quints Harpoon gun

I'm about to CNC the trigger and some other bits my self but now I feel I'll never be able to do as good a job.

that where I got mine from I think but they lie when they say its been lovingly restored its like a bad photo copy when I get time I'm going to make a fresh copy in illustrator. PS anyone got clues on fonts let me know its a subject I know very little about as I still use comic sands on my drawings
I'm willing to help as much as I can. I've been trying to find the large Greener font on the cover but so far it's proving to be quite elusive. I'll shift focus to some of the others if I don't have any luck soon.

I can't find a period accurate quick release but they still make 3/16 shackles. If you look close you can see its bent out to fit 1/2 blass

SMH I feel bad for any Shark that even looks at this thing! Zee it's Perfect! You'd have to take two or three good looks at what you've done to notice the difference in the shackles
Yep, what you said:cool::cool:(y)(y)This build is amazing, as usual:notworthy::notworthy::notworthy::notworthy: We're so lucky to have you here flimzy!!

Managed to find a real cleaning rod which will help me work out a jig for bending the ends, got a few more old stock cleaning bits, and mocked up first handle. Can’t work out how they got the plastic on ,is it molded on?

looks hot dipped we did something similar back in school in the 80s when we made screwdrivers in metalwork heated the handle and then dipped it in very fine powdered plastic, i think there's a equivalent product I think its was called powder dip

Stepping outside of fonts, I work with flight cases on the daily as part of my real job. With some of these handles, the ones on this case for example, the intent is for the solid plastic/wood sleeve to roll around the metal portion. Better grip/ergonomic, etc. They're using bending jigs that we probably don't understand. These things are plated and then bent without damage to the plating. I don't know how they do it, but they do.

Very unlikely that it's molded. Not cheap enough and kind of more modern practice. It's also way too precise to be dipped.
