This project has been in storage for a few years as we've been abroad. A while ago I almost pulled the trigger on woodman's amazing resin kit, but we recently bounced back home for a bit so I finally had a chance to work on it. TBH, it came together rather quickly.
The goal (not mine)...
Took me a while to find a grenade cup and of course the correct model Enfield...
They come apart real easy...
First up, cut the barrel down...
The adapter just slides on the locks into place beautifully...
Barrel blocked...
On to the wood parts...
I used a piece of broom handle to fill the hole.
Haven't whittled for years! Lol.
After an overall sand I rubbed sewing machine oil into the wood and then coated it with an acrylic polyurethane...
Next up will be the finished reveal.
