I taped together a bunch of the pieces that I cut out to make it a one piece template for the chest. so the whole front is one piece. I used a soldering iron to make the detail lines which you gotta be careful using. I also taped together a bunch of the pieces for the back to make the back easier for foam. I think all together the back ended up only being 6-7 pieces that I cut out. I will take a pick of the back when I get home.

One piece front? NICE.

So, any of the template pieces that i would just being gluing edge to edge without any special angles, I grouped/taped together to make a bigger template.

One piece front? NICE.

Yeah, besides the recessed triangle piece which help form the chest shape (So I didn't modded the templates, just grouped them together). So, all was left was to do that piece and the little cut in the center arc area of the chest and the arc accent pieces.

@Gaiatron, just want to let you know an issue that I ran into. Your foam unfold for the upper torso had 2 pieces missing if you just open up, rescale, and print. The pieces were the far back piece on the top of the rised shoulder part with pentagon shape along its length and a piece on the back's corner mid-ways up. Wonder if anyone else had that issue. I was able to get the missing pieces from ironleoman's foam unfold (which was unfolded a little different), mod it, and combine it to make a complete template.

Sweet, i would appreciate that. I was tracing all the pieces for the chest on my foam last night, and could not help but think.....THIS IS GONG TO SUCK!

lol, that is what i did for my first run at the helmet. Never even dawned on me to do it for the chest to make it easier.

I was giving up on trying to finish a full suit after Sandy decided to wipe out the War Machine and Lex Luther pieces I'd pepped but this thread gave me the motivation to try again. Not to mention IP has always been a favorite on mine.

I love the way everyone has worked together on this, it is really something else and Jackieisrockin your work is just great. Well done. :thumbsup
