Very nice IronLeoMan that is looking great yours to quovadis0920.
Quovadis0920 may I ask why 3 of them? Did I miss something?
I can't wait week after next i have confirmed with my better half and have a go ahead to start my build. The antisipation is killing me especially seeing some great builds popping up in here.

Damn you are all working so fast ! Took me forever to complete the torso and shoulders ! And I'm not even sure it's as clean as your builds...
How are you guys planning to coat your suit(s) ?

Thats the advantage of using foam chief.. With in a month.. You can compleate a suit without paint.

No kidding. I work in paper, but I may have to switch it up for the next project. The finish work takes 10+ times longer in paper...

But I am using foam too :lol But I think my hot glue gun is a bit broken, the glue takes forever to cool, so I need to hold the pieces together for 2-3, sometimes 5 minutes ...

Wow you've gotta find something better than that, you're going to drive yourself nuts just holding and waiting. What kind of foam are you using?

Re: Jackieisrockins Iron Patriot(IM3) Pepakura Files! Links in first post! Shoulder a

plastazote 10mm, same as xrobot. But I really think it's the cheap glue gun, after all it was only 5 $...

What are you guys planning on using to fill in the places in between the forearms and biceps? Or is there going to be a piece of armor in between like in the reference pictures.

I hear ya.. I broke 3 glue gun (made in china I guess)cos I bought the cheap one and it looked like cheap plastic.. Takes forever to cool..... Then I bought one from the craft store and its been with me for 4 months now..

It could be your gun or your sticks or both. I always thought that all sticks were the same, then I discovered high and low temp sticks (along with hi/lo and adjustable guns). I use low-temp sticks in a typical cheapo craft gun for paper, but card stock glues very easily at low temp. Maybe you need a dual-adjustment or a hi-temp gun? They sell both kinds at regular hobby/craft stores near me and the price is pretty comparable. Then again probably best to find someone who's using your same materials and see what they did :lol

I'm out of glue sticks anyway, I'll look around in my local hobby store, but I think they only have the one I use.
Back to the topic, to make the joins between forearm and biceps I found some rubber garage door seal, the stuff you stick at the bottom to isolate it, Ladman.

I found out the hard way..i used some low heat glue stick its ok but when you work with resin that heats up it melts the glue so be careful when working with resin and low temp glue

Hi low setting hmm.. Never though of finding that.. Chief you always have an answer for everything  any way now still adicted to the ip fever with what left foam scrap I have.. I decided to to the chin first before buying more foam to compeate it as you can see from the bottom left of the picture.
