I used magnets to join parts. In result it's easy to put the the helm on + lovelly sound of joining parts.

Could you share how you setup your hinges I have try several different ways and I have been able to get open smoothly. Ive tried single arm double arm and either the initial opening part right or the peak opening lined up not both. tnx.

haha Well no promises just yet. These are the first long prints on it so I'm expecting at least one hilarious failure. I'm actually running the Ultron stuff through first to make sure the bed doesn't cause issues with printing.

Don, I have to wonder how much nicer your WIP would look if you hit it with a coat of primer. The yellow resin tint is not very flattering to your work.

i was wondering too, but why waste a can or two of primer if it's going to get covered in bondo...i can save my money for the paint or some fiberglass..

Thanks to everyone who provide such good information to work with. We didn't use Jackies files for the whole thing as they weren't available when we started, we did use some parts however. How did we do for our first builds? Loving all the work guys!
