I just use a cut out piece from a plastic milk bottle lol...For both my Arc and my repulsors, it disperses the light really well. Eyes are XRobot's method of sunglasses lenses with bridal veil glued to it to disperse the light and lit from below by LEDs.

Just a quick question, but how do I scale the download down to a 6'2'' scale? I see that the download in the first post is to about a 6'9'' scale... I'm still pretty new to this. I completed my first Iron Man suit just in time for Planet Comicon here last Saturday. Thanks!

The best and most accurate way is to use the "Measure from point to point" tool in the 2D menu in Pep Designer. This allows you to scale each piece individually to suit your own body shape/size. For example, measure your forearm from wrist to elbow the length that the forearm piece is supposed to cover, then use the point to point measurement tool to scale the forearm piece until it is the same (or pretty close) length.

a pingpong ball is a great diffuser, just cut it and layer it till ya see no hotspots

lol, never wouldve thought a ping pong ball, but would you have to heat it up and flatten it a bit?

yea i heat it and lay somthing flat like a heavy book or somthin on top and let it sit there for awhile and it stays flat. And try to place your led's as far from whatever lense you use as possible.

It doesnt have to be a specific book....:lol jk Im not picking on ya either i used one of my sons school books. I have styrene also and it didnt diffuse very well it took away the brightness or "glow"
heres a pic I found thatbsomeone used ppball soften the flash on their camera see it glows pretty good

Well no I agree, a consistent glow, a solid and reliable light. I used ppballs to make my bender's eyes glow, so sorry if I am a little biased

believe it or not he rushed the legs of this suit. . .he asked me on how to fast build the cannon but i had no idea too lol. . .it's really good to see a kid size suit :thumbsup

So way behind but catching up..lol..i have most of my upper suit just need helmet and neck..
Laellee you said you scaled your helmet at .9000scale?i need to print that next....how did that fit....i tried going back to check but I'm on my phone taking forever..lol..
