Oh man! I was so proud of myself for coming up with a magnet solution for the back of my War Machine helmet and the I see the same thing done here a few pages back.
Beautiful work btw, It's inspired me to start another Iron Man mask. My goal, Match the quality of this one. Fantastic stuff.

This is a really great project and has been executed really well. I love seeing the projects progress and reading your explanations.

I'm pretty much an absolute beginner when it comes to this (just getting started in all this really) and it was great that you documented this project so well (I love the fact your thread was picture heavy BTW! Very very interesting to see the progress).

I especially liked learning (this may be common knowledge to everyone, but not to me being a total novice) that the helmet started out from cardboard. I always assumed it would have to be done from clay or something similar!

Thanks... Wow... I was once like you (and still are for builds I haven't tried ) and I still remember it like it was yesterday... fortunately this forum and community exist... it helped me a lot and members here are very kind and supportive all the way...

Members here like Pannaus Props (formerly Gemini Khan), Zabana, Mask Rider, Finhead, Robo3687, Stealth (and many more) are the ones who inspired me and my brother to build props/replicas... you may want to check their thread (very inspiring and a source of good references:thumbsup)...

Also forever grateful to sharkhead and dubean for an awesome pep they made.

lol:lol... its actually a very old technique that I got from members here who made it, I think few years back...

i was inspired by your work and I just started my own project. where can i find cardstock here in the philippines? i can't seem to find it on national bookstores. employees don't know what card stock is.
i used vellum board, is it the same as card stocks? will it handle resining? any help would be much appreciated. keep up the good work!
