Iron Monger -Halloween 2008 -You know it had to be done.

Thanks again for the warm praise, gang.

This project utilized a variety of materials from cardboard boxes to ABS Plastic. The specialty parts such as the arms, knees, helmet, etc were created by forming ABS plastic. The body cavity and legs where created out of card board boxes. Thes parts were too big to pull under the vac machine and work due to our time limit. Therefore, we utilized what we could to get the project done in the amount of time we had. The legs utilize a platform type aparatus to give height to the wearer as well as comfort when they stand for long periods of time. The arms have eye candy hydrolics on the arms and legs that appear to be working. Below are some of the WIP pics for the project:

HOLY CRAP! That's fantastic looking! Excellent job, especially in such an incredibly short time.

:thumbsup Good job! :)

Here's a crappy video of Monger in action. We had some repairs to the ankle joints to do to get him to walk better. The chest and arc reactor got a make-over as well. He still needs work, but is coming along nicely. Hope you enjoy:

Thanks, gang. There's still plenty to do and many more upgrades to go, but it's looking better and better for each event. Not to mention it takes a bus to haul the doggone thing anywhere. :lol
