Not taking names... that never works out and is too much a PITA. I take names and then the people who said they wanted one don't buy one. Plus the first and second runs took longer than anticipated to produce and I felt bad that a bunch of you guys were just sitting around for a long time waiting on me. This time I will be selling them when they are ready to go. First come, first serve.

Yes, I did have a thread on our servo sound effects kit in the works but if the thread sits for too long it get deleted. To be honest, we have been so busy that we really haven't had time to work on it very much. We have a lot of other ideas but time is the biggest hangup on producing this stuff. We still want to do these things so if we get the time then we will continue to pursue them.

Yes, what I mean is the first people to make payment will be the first people to get the kits. I want everyone to have a fair chance so I will be posting updates here so you can see how close I am getting and I will probably also announce a specific date and time when I will start selling them. I will probably list them on Etsy and let you all know when that listing will go live. That is the best way to make sure everyone has a fair chance at getting a kit.

Going for Etsy is good, like that you dont choose who to sell it to, like that you will put how many pcs are available and you will sell them till run out, -good idea

Exactly, If I sell here then I would have to say the first to post and send payment but then I have to make sure you send payment and maybe somebody would post and not have the money right away and how is that fair to somebody that has the money. Too much hassle for something like this. Etsy is a better way to go in this case. You can still pay via PayPal or you could pay with a Credit Card. Here is my Etsy Store so you guys can follow it but like I said I will announce here ahead of time to give you RPF members a jump on all other regular folks out there.

Well they are not really on hold... we just decided to go ahead and push through to the V2.0 design. My partner has some time to dedicate to the project right now so we scratched the third run on the v1.2 design and will be putting out the new v2.0 circuit boards. We have already finished the design on the board and ordered the prototypes. We have to finish up some work on the new code and assemble the boards when they get here. Then, if there are any problems that need to be addressed we will do that and start production. Sounds simple enough but it is a complicated process when you get down to it. I will keep you all posted.
