Re: Darkside501st's Iron Man/War Machine Repulsor Kits - Update 8/3 - New Full Video
Thanks for the interest guys. I have some more boards and parts on order to do a third run. We've got the process down now so it shouldn't take as long for the third run. I will be doing a third run of the v1.2 Superhero Repulsor kits. Then we will be making the v2.0 Superhero Repulsors. For those of you that are interested in the other options, I am sorry but I don't have time to invest in everything right now. I will probably be dropping those options off the menu for now. They really pail greatly in comparison to the Superhero Repulsors.
I am a little hesitant to talk about what we are going to do with the v2.0 kits. We have goals in mind but haven't tested many of them yet. So we may not do everything that we have in mind. Although, I would like to take input/ideas from you all and see if you can think of anything that we have not. Here are some of the improvements we are shooting for with the v2.0 kits.
We are also still throwing some ideas around but if any of you have something that you would like us to include and there is a demand for it then we can look into it. So post your feedback and ideas.

- The board will be more compact and use less power so batteries will last longer.
- We will be using an in-chip sound processor so the sound quality will be better.
- It will store the sounds on an Micro SD card so changing sounds will be easier.
- There will be more sound profile slots to switch between.
- We will be using a hall effect sensor to switch between sound profiles. This will make it easier to switch while in costume. You can put a magnet in your fingertips then touch your finger to your forearm to cycle through the sound profiles.
- We might add different light profiles that might produce different lighting effects such as a flash or burst of light on blast for example.
- We are going to look into using an accelerometer to trigger additional effects.
We are also still throwing some ideas around but if any of you have something that you would like us to include and there is a demand for it then we can look into it. So post your feedback and ideas.
