man you guys are seriously talented and patient.. all the progressive builds that i have seen here must have taking hours,weeks,months to do.well done to you all this looks amazing!!

How did you manage to link the thigh with the shin?

the thigh isnt linked to the shin at the moment,just sat on the pivot point allowing it to move back n forwards.im gonna epoxy a small flat bar in the thigh connecting it to the pivot with a bush n bolt.few pics below hope this helps

well just a bit done,couldnt be bothered pepping fingers,so had a play around with some cut off the resined glove,bit of filler n ended up with something like.time to make a couple of silicone molds,add some easyflo 120 and all is well.quicker than pepping
correction done to right calf.extra couple of inches added to chest piece.
pair of handplates finished off,another job ready for molding.
all foot plates completed.
mocked all up in garden bloody massive,not only do i need to go on a diet,i need to grow another 6 inches or so as welllol:lol
it just aint happeningcry
see how our kid fits it later this week

Very impressive work. I really don't quite get how this pep thing works , but you seem to have mastered it - loving the smooth paint finish on the leg , the finished suit is going to look the dogs swingers mate. Big thumbs up from here.

What filler did you use ?
upol easysand,dolphin glaze,hb bodylite

What colour paint did you use ?
honda red pearl over silver base,ford solar gold blended with nissan gold

What size waist is the cod made for ?

the cod started off a 32?but a few tweeks its now about 36/37?



time for a little update
plenty of flatting a little more primer a lick of paint n a arc reactor
still needs detailing n a touch of weathering

Love what your doing with the suit mate, its wicked to say the least. What i was thinking is that the whole scaling issue can be solved by increasing the insole thickness of the IM boot. Thats what I plan to do with my build. I want to look the part and being 5'10 also I dont want to scale the size down as i want to look bigger in the suit. So i was thinking that is a route you could explore to get some extra height for your wearer without scaling down. Again though mate amazing build gives us first time pep builders something to aspire too.

thanks,i have no issues with scale,im just a short arse!!!ive built it to default scale,then added a few inches to the cod,abs,chest/back so it will fit various waist/upper body sizes.
been trial fit on someone 5.10 n looks fine.
raising the insole of the boot will give xtra height,but the pivot/knee will remain in the same place,unless you remove a small section from the calf where the flaps sit.
unfortunately my legs just aint long enuff,but at a later date i'll mold them and remove a few inches:lol

received a parcel monday from italy from Gemini Khan
when i opened it,a big smile covered my face:love
absolutely beautiful piece of craftsmanship,infact bloody superb.
well that was it suit on hold n helmet time(felt like a kid with his first model kit:lol) .refine my helmet at a later date.
so a few hrs here a few hrs there been spent this week,to get this beauty finished.
