Unlimited Run Iron Giant Bolt/Screw kit w/ electronic light and sound

So this is a bit embarrassing. This was my first time soldering anything and i thought it would be a good idea to put heat-shrink on the LED. I managed to get it working but it didn't fit with the heat-shrink and i broke the LED's. I was hoping you could tell me the types of LED you used. I need to get new ones.

Yeah. That's another thing I should add to the instructions. Rather than heat shrinking the leads of the LEDs, they should just be cut short (2 or 3 milometers) and make sure you a good solder connection to the wires. This will keep them from contacting each other. The 5mm LED can accommodate heat shrink, but the 3mm LEDs will likely not fit with it.

As for your LEDs, I'll PM you about getting some replacements.

I think I'm finally finished! I only repainted it twice, but I like the way it turned out!

I was SOOOOooooo sure I was gunna get the last of the kits out by Monday. I got a lot out, but there are still just a few left to ship. :( They WILL go out this week.

Forgot to update. Got my kit several weeks ago. Great kit. Can not wait to start putting mine together (pics to follow). I was wondering do you have any kits left with pre wired electronics?

Thanks again

Brian

Got my kit yesterday. Everything looks really great. I opted for the pre-wired electronics and I'm glad I did. I have zero experience doing that sort of stuff. I tested it and everything works perfectly. I've have no experience building resin kits. In fact the only things I've ever really built were my original trilogy Star Wars sabers. I figure if I can put an Obi saber together from all real parts, I can do this. We'll see. Oh yeah, I've never really painted anything either. :lol

All the pre-orders have shipped and should have been delivered by now. If anyone has not received their kit (that has not ordered in the past couple of days), or is missing parts, please let me know.

I do have a few kits left. They are available for order HERE.

Thanks again to everyone who sported this project. I cant wait to see your work.
