Well, Ive been reading every amazing spiderman thread about all these super cool people making prints and such, but I dont have those resources. So I've decided to use the Amazing Spiderman Zentai as seen here

I will be using the Amazing Spiderman Lenses as seen here. And will use sculpey to make the lenses.

For Webshooters, I will actually be making them out of sculpey and instamorph.
And of course for shoes, Ill use Asics Dirt Dogs.

My plan for this costume is to make a more comicbook-like look to the movie costume. I have already ordered my costume and got 2-3 day shipping. So I will be updating this thread with progress of course. :D

Boom! So, I got the zentai suit! And have worked on it quite a bit, but not many pictures of the whole process. Pictures up later today.

Alright, so, I got the Zentai suit. This is what the costume looked like before I did anything to it, but I didnt actually take pictures of mine before i worked on it, so These are pics ive just found. If theyre yours, please feel free to claim them as yours.

Now, the awesome part. :D I used black spray paint to do muscle shading. Most of the actual red would come from the puff paint, so i didnt worry about it being to black in the abs and everything. Now, i was using spidersparrows method with the trivet handle that had a honeycomb pattern to use for a stamp, but I just decided to free hand it. Including the black part, which isnt honeycombs but elongated... honeycombs.

And My spiderman glasses came today. :D they were more of a blackish color, but nothing some good ol' yellow glass stain cant fix!IMG_0576.JPG

Also, just for a close up, I added the details under the honey comb with my black permanent pen to add that 3d shadow effect they had goin' on in the movie.

Ill keep this updated, but right now the costume is kinda ok.

Question, I need lenses for my glasses. I didnt want to use the ones on the glasses because theyre split and the glasses stick out. Can anyone instruct me on how to make lenses or something?

After laying down the hexagon pattern, I just outlined half of the inside part where the fabric is with a black permanent marker in each hexagon.

More progress with the suit! As most of you can probably tell, the gloves on the zentai suit are a bit short and the webs are just all wrong.

But that's nothing my good ol' friend acrylic can't fix! Nothing beats acrylic paint. At least not on this budget.

So after I did that, I just puff painted on the correct web lines and the hexagon pattern. After that using my dandy ink marker to to inside edging and voila!

Minor update. I've started doing the stitching part on those lines in the blue area that run down the body two from the shoulders, two on the back, and those two from the waist. Looking good so far.
