Iracel's Amazing Spiderman Zentai Build

Due to a mess up in the order, they have yet to send it to me. I do get a half priced zentaicostume out of it though.

I got the lenses. They didn't have to be perfect, since this is battle damaged spiderman. I used the. Wonder outs instamorph, which is moldable plastic for those who don't know. I formed the frames around the lenses then painted them. This is how they turned out.

Update. The mask is on it's way. Has been for a while, so I expect it soon. A dilemma has arisen though. I've been using black puff paint for the webbing and blue part, but my michaels has been out for a really long time, and only carries slick, which is also running scarce. I decided to use black slick puff paint on the blue parts, but stick to my guns and wait for black puffy to be available for the webbing. Lots of time has been spent free handing the blue pattern, at the expense of my right hand. But everything is turning out pretty well.

I also worked on a practice of the webshooters, made out of instamorph and sculpey.

Small update. I made the webshooters out of sculpey and instamorph. This is just a start picture. The finished products will be uploaded later. They're not that great, but it's all I can afford. :p

I started on the mask. No face shell, and the lenses just look awful. But im goign to pull it off as battle damaged, which is the great thing about making a battle damaged suit. XD

Small Update. I got the web patch made on the costume using puff paint, hot glue, and spray paint. Its supposed to be from the movie where he got shot in the leg and patched it up. then there are some other pictures of the costume and the mask. Looks suprisingly good for no faceshell.

Hey I know this was one year ago, but I was wondering is there any tips on puff painting the suit? Because it looks very precise and I was just wondering if there is any tip/tricks on how to do this.
Thanks!

Practice on something else before going straight into your costume. I got good at painting hexagons and pattern from repetition. Lay the paint on rather thin, too. There's not much to it, but it can give you some trouble from the beginning.
