Sorry I wasn’t able to post my thoughts on this stunning piece. With travels, & then work! It’s been crazy busy.
Anyway, this piece is freaking gorgeous!!! & Indy shoulda left the sand in the bag. This thing is weighty!

Made a base out of a square stepping stone which I chipped and carved to shape.

My second idol arrived today. I live in an earthquake-prone area, so I decided I wanted a backup statue in case something happens. This is definitely the best replica of this idol ever made. Beautiful work as always!



I also like the new shade of gold the factory used in this second run. It's a bit more yellow than the original run. I can't decide which I like better. The yellow version looks less "antique", but more like traditional gold. I love them both. They're both so gorgeous and heavy and realistic. Many thanks again!
