In some form or another; something like this is currently being brainstormed (...) by a team of ambitious go-getters, and there's a committee of young executives waiting to declare "genius!"
Well, the story is set in the 1960’s so, why not Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lovebug?

I'm guessing you meant Buddy Hackett (who was actually in The Love Bug).
Buddy Ebsen was in The Beverly Hillbillies (and many other things).

Sure, they deleted the 53 from the door because they had to cut off the bottom of the door at an angle to clear the road, and the 53 would make it super obvious.
