incredible hulk costume build

Personally I feel he was over reacting harmonic, but then im just thinking the book is over 10years old...old tech...old news

Still good to respect it though. Can't seem to find out what the device is that sculptures use to hold the figure in air while working it. Seen it in many pics, but can't find it online.

Anyone know what its called?.or is it homemade, looks like its bought.

Forgive me for doing something when one of the truly great people in the industry is getting screwed.
Harmonic was kind enough to remove the images when he learned some of the background of them.
The Dick Smith Make-Up Courses
Case closed.

To paraphrase Sherlock Holmes, "Everything is easy when it's explained to you".

It's old tech, old news. Nothing you would be interested in.

I'm sure you can devise something much better.

Good luck on your build.

All due respect clayslinger, don't see how posting an image from a book is screwing anyone. Obviously the book is public access, and harmonic never claimed to be the author of the design. He wasn't selling the information, and I didn't plan on using the design so no harm done.
I apologize if you're offended by my opinions, its just reality. I mean no disrespect, and if dicksmith wants to be soooo greedy that he would feel screwed if someone posted an image from his book that I assume most people would never even see or hear about in the first place. If you ask me it would be a good advertisement for his book/courses so its more beneficial than it would be screwing him.

I've never heard of him till you brought this up, so its a good thing that it happened. Looking at his line of work, he truly is old school, though he had an impressive run. Much respect to his career, mainly movies after the 70's looks like he's been retired from film since 2000

Oh, and Neo...im working on getting the supplies. I currently work 70hours/week and spend 1 1/2-2hours 4days a week in the gym after work. Little time, but I am working on getting my "shop" together so I can start doing some physical stuff

Trying to attach some pics of a project I started. Not the costume yet, but a small statue of the hulk(get in the mood and practice sculpting) its about 10" tall. But for some reason I can't seem to get them to attach properly. I'll have to do it when I get home. I got held up for a couple weeks on the project because of preparing for my greatest creation, my son. :) Anyways I went out and bought some supplies for sculpting, but need to get the stuff I need to work on the mask and so on. Haven't been able to get anything off Craigslist because by the time I get off work someone already got it. May have to suck it up and actually buy the table for my "shop" area. Using the kitchen island for the statue and not sure my girl will deal with me doing a big project in there. Specially being my first project like this im sure it'll get messy.

Thanks whisper. Its further along now, need to take more pics. Have to find some good tools for getting in smaller detail all the ones I have are too big.

Sorry its been awhile, my son was born. Been really busy with him. Unfortunately this was put to the side for him, and also a few investments im doing.

Unfortunately mine hasn't gotten off to a great start either yet. A change in finances means that I'm going to have to make it 100% myself instead of working with Brandon...but that's how we do things around here, isnt it?

I have started the sculpt for the mask, but nothing to show at the moment.

Looking forward to your build.

We are all interested, maybe we should support them financially so they can complete the project.
