Immortan Joe costume from Mad Max, Fury Road

Like Jango but made of blocks of wood that you slide out one at a time…[emoji6]

Hey guys you probably already know this but if you need to rust anything in hours just combine water, salt, vinegar, and bleach. Works really good

The nut and bolt store I went 2 called the castle nuts slotted nuts if anyone is going the real route. And it looked like I needed 10 large 12 med 10 small. Didn't have to buy in bulk. If I'm off please let me know Joe's thanks

It's gonna be really heavy…

Also, when I got to Atlanta, nearly all of my printed ABS nuts had come un-hot glued from the leather. [emoji19] This time, I am going to cut little slits through the finish of the leather under each nut. I drove all night so it never got hot. The waxy finish on the leather defeated the hot glue. Should have used E6000 or contact cement.

Small, medium and large. Not being smart, I just scaled them to the Cortina emblem with no thought to the actual size of the nut: 1/2," 3/8," etc.

I figured that ha ha its crazy how many in between sizes they had. I looked at like 15 different sizes.

Did someone say the filters were from a motorcycle? Because I went to a couple hardcore bike shops and they didn't recognize them

I bought modern motorcycle filters and they are too fat and too short. Riding mower? Vintage motorcycle?

This is the closest I can find so far but it's 3" insert when I think it's supposed to be 11 or 12 mm. It's a cold air intake. Keep an eye out Joe's let me know if you find out the real thing

I found larger versions of it on someone's gas mask costume at DragonCon today and confirmed it was a motorcycle air filter

Yeah there are motorcycle filters that look similar but the input is two large 3". Guess I could find a different adapter.

Smallest is 3" when they need to be 11 or 12 mm. This costume is going to be the death of me.

My Immortan didn't make it this year. Ended up making a last minute trip and didn't get it done. Hoping to have mine finished in the next month or so
