Illuminated Aliens Pulse Rifle Display Base

I have to chime in and also say that your PR is amazing! The base and the gun. I built one using an airsoft Thompson and Matt's shrouds and GL. I eventually sold it. Now after seeing your beautiful PR and the HCG guns I feel inclined to build another, this time to keep. But, if I do it again, it will be with a real SPAS and Remington this time.

Thanks for the insperation!

It was a nightmare to build these ,with all the grinding ,cutting metal ,with a dremel ,sanding ,and metal chips all over the garage for weeks at a time ,primer, painting ,several thin coats to even out and sand some more ,it was great, my wife ,I believe was ready to leave me ,by the time ,I finally got done,it only took a year to do the construction....lol.....I wish ,I could take it to a convention but with the real gun parts ,especially deactivated sawed off shotgun ,I doubt they would let me in ,with this PR.........

Your rifle is stunning! Not sure why you would want an HCG when you have something that great looking!
I actually prefer the look of your display over the wall mount. Your base gives the whole display more 'dimension' if you can understand what I'm trying to say.
Where do you keep this beauty when its on display??
Heres a picture of it upstairs, out of the childrens reach,LOL........http://www.therpf.com/members/gyoung2993/albums/my-collection/1984-pr-pictures-005.jpg

For the inquiries, Yes ,it does have a M1A1 bolt, spring, buffer, and buffer guide ,actual parts ,I built the airsoft reciever ,as the real upper reciever on an M1A1 ,and put real parts in this after drilling the airsoft upper reciever, all the way thru the front ,dremeled the whole inside ,and then drilled the back of the upper reciever for my buffer guide to slide right thru the back and lock in with the buffer ,identical to the real one........alot of time went into this whole gun .especially with the deactivated grenade launcher from the real Spas 12 cage and remington 870........http://www.therpf.com/members/gyoun...-operate-without-bottom-reciever-attached.jpg

I plan on making one more change to the pulse rifle and then it will be time to build another I think , It was a heck of a job to build 1 , but I would like to do it again.....with it not being all metal this time, want to try to build one ,quite not so expensive ,this next go around ,Matt and Tom ,you all about ready to assist me ......LOL ...... HAHAHAHAHA

She is Now completed for good ,time to start my other projects that I have put off to get this right........

I do not ever want to take that apart ever again ,its easier to build it and finish, than it is to build ,and then re-modify something already done......lol......OK Matt and Tom ready for INSPECTION SIR !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everytime you leave a post ,it always cracks me up ONEYE, lol .......Thank you sir ,I am still crying over your collection.........

It looks fantastic, Guy. Both versions of barrel vents look great to me but, it always comes down to what you like best for your own. But see now, you have an extra barrel vent. The only remedy for that debacle is to begin collecting parts for another build up. It (the fever) never ends. ;) Kudos to you!! :thumbsup
