My son is in the Young Marines and they need a suitable replica of a rifle to practice drill.
They would have to be light but durable.
I don't know much about cast replicas so I would like to know which process would work best for this application.
I don't think resin is the way to go, I'm leaning toward a rubber foam / machined parts hybrid.
If you have any opinions please post below.
These would have to be slightly smaller then normal rifles since the Young Marines age range is 8-18.
They have a painted toy rifle that is the correct size that could be used for a master
We would need about 6 of them but if they work out and are reasonably priced I'm sure many of the other Young Marine Units would be interested in buying them for their units.
If you have the capability to produce replica rifles please email me at bobadebt@ec.rr.com
Thanks
