I recently purchased a broken Deathsting-style disruptor from an eBay seller. The piece is made of heavy resin. The barrel was broken off and it is missing the grip and the right-side "tank". It appears to be professionally painted with a color scheme appropriate to early Star Trek TNG appearances.
What intrigued me about the item was that the disruptor is signed and numbered on the under side just ahead of the grip's position:
It is too much to expect that this is a production piece but I am interested in finding out who the maker was and getting any other information about its origins. Perhaps someone recognizes the signature. Thank you.
