How to use flash hider for MG-81 rifle for ANH Solo blaster?

I've got the bull barrel from an MR LE which I will accurize by removing their crappy front sight and adding the t-track/'antennae'. It was my best bet since I just don't have the skill to do the chamfered end myself.

Aaah, was it really neccessary to mention that angled end? :confused

Now i couldn´t wait - it forced me to go in the basement and:

And yes, i know it´s dangerous to do any milling work with a drillpress chuck - but i´m still not well equipped with tools for the new toy, waiting for collets and collet chuck. :$

And while i was there at the machine, i started machining the slot that my grill was still missing, for the protruding bump at the mag-housings base:
