How to Mold a Hand Sculpt?

Hey everyone, hoping this is in the right forum and I can get some feedback.

I am planning a costume for DragonCon that I will be using a sculpted "GLOVE LIKE" prosthesis.

So without devulging too much knowledge to this piece, its like a cybernetic arm. For the arms I'm just doing vacc'd shells like an armor that will attach around the arms. But the fingers and such are going to need to be articulate.

The movie in which its from, the character has full use of their hand still, so I take it that its going to be a urethane/silicone/latex rubber that was used. So now that brings this question. I have sculpted this piece now, and I'm ready to mold it. But to make it so it fits my hand (which the initial sculpt is on a lifecast of my hand) how will i mold it? After I make the simple box mold, will i just place the lifecast of my hand into the mold as the medium is curing so that it will have the space inside for my own hand?

OK, the project is a secret, right? So there's no point in asking for a picture reference so we can see what you are talking about?

So you want to mold a glove? Are seam lines an issue? What material is the final product? It needs to be a glove that your hand can fit into?

The sculpt is on a hand cast? Does the hand cast have a register (key) that it can be located back into its original location? Because if you want to puor something hollow, like a glove, there needs to be a core inside the mold to take up space so that it is not solid.

It would be a LOT of typing to describe all the work necessary to make such a mold. It would look like a small chapter in a book.

Although, the easier way would be to make a two-piece gypsum mold and pour in latex, let set for a while, and pour out and let cure. That would give you a glove.

I would slush cast it, cut it into sections and then put a rubber glove on a lifecast and apply the pieces to it.
