I can't seem to figure out how to change the title of the first post for some reason.
Is this no longer an option?

I know this no longer bumps the thread, that is not my intention. I just want to make the title more fitting...

thanks.

edit- OK that's weird, becuase this thread lets me do it, but the one on the prop board about my biker scout blaster will not...

AHHHHHH.

You forgot to add the word "Porno" to a title again huh?

Same as always.

I just tried to edit 2 of my threads and it worked on both.

Just learned that topics imported from the old forum can only be edited by mods. I'm guessing that must be the case here. Any thread you create here or post here on the new forum, you should be able to edit.

OK that must be it, Thanks.

Open the thread and click on "edit" at the bottom of your first post. If it's your thread, you can alter the title. It'll be already filled in, in its own little window.

Okay, I posted this question in the Technical Support section but never got any response. Does anyone know if you can edit a Topic Title after you've posted it?

Errr, Yes - Why didn't you try it on this thread?

Click Edit, but you have to use the "full edit" option not the "quick edit".

Yes. All you have to do is go to your first post of the topic you posted and hit "edit". You will then be able to change the post and the title.

Hope this helps.

Editing Thread TITLES????

Will it be possible to edit thread titles as new info or updates are added to the threads themselves?
I always appreciated this feature before and find it to be a great function...but I cant figure out how to do it now..if it's even possible.

Any suggestions?
Thanks and great job so far guys!

Yeah...That's not working for me. I can change the title in the box, but the title is unchanged once I repost. The updated title is only visible INSIDE the thread as the title of the first post...at least with me. Anyone else having this problem? It looks like it should work, but doesn't.

If I remember correctly, the thread titles need to be updated in the Admin CP (by an administrator, of course.). There should be an "Update Thread Titles" function that will apply all of the changes that were made.

Re: Editing your topic title

Yes, I'm having this problem, too. I can edit everything except the main thread title (which everyone in the main forum sees).

The admins are the only ones who can change this?

Editing a subject

I cannot edit the subject of my DELETE thread in the junkyard (I just wanted to change DELETE to FS.

Re: Editing a subject

thread title editing may or may not be possible (when viewing from forum without clicking on it), we're still sorting that out.
