How can I make a bottle look like it's filled with liquid?

Got my wax gel and colour chips in the post today. I forgot to take a pic before the colour went in but this is it cooking.

These are the chips. I got a few different colours so I could experiment a bit

I used a small funnel to make sure that the gel didn't splash around the inside of the bottle neck

Left over gel. It looks like the funky space goo from Spiderman 3!

The finished bottle. It looks darker in this pic for some reason but in person it has just the right dark brown transparency. It also looks like an air bubble right at the top but it isn't. It must have been a reflection or something. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.

Genius idea from the guys that suggested coloured wax!

That looks so great! I think I will do that with my bottle too.

And now you just need the correct crown cork. There's an US guy on eBay who is selling a lot of them. Search for "Vintage Pepsi Cola 1940's Double Dot..cork..used..Soda Bottle Cap NO JUNK".
