Help on a Stargate model - Screen cap request

Just got a complete set of the Diamond Select Stargate model pices and would like to add the blue background to the gate circle. Could someone out there do me a favor and get a screen cap of the gate open with the blue ripple effect. I would like to take the grab and print a copy to add to the gate model I have if possible.

I have a VERY high res, pretty good looking version of the ripple I'd be happy to share. PM me an email addy and I'll scale it down and send it to you (right now it's 30" and 300 dpi -- I made it for my amazing Xenoweb Stargate model, which just recently arrived...) Measure your model and let me know what size you need.

Thanks, pming you! The Xeno gate is fantastic and at 40 inches a super sized model replica. Looks darn nice, especially with the lights on.

BTW the tenchical term for the blue rippling surface of the event horizon of an active gate, is "puddle". :cool

When I got my kit from Xeno, I figured why put a mirror, picture or blue ripple glass in it after someone posted about the Chauvet Abyss II (dj light effect projector), so I got one of those off of amazon.

I finally ordered the paints I need for Xeno's kit & the upstairs is getting remodeled now. I just have to figure out the right projection distance to know where to put the outlet in the ceiling for where I want it to hang on the wall.
