Hello everybody, I am pleased to introduce you to my take on that famous caractere that is Hellboy, with this life size bust.
Let me explain a little why I sculpted the piece, the point was to represent that fantastic caractere in a way that would show a real presence and intensity, with an expression that command respect, in a different style (usual Ron perlman representation),
here are the last picture I took, showing where i am on the sculpt.
The bust was sculpted in waterclay, and totaly textured, it is about 20" tal and 12" wide. The missing ponytail will be sculpted after the bust is casted in a resistant material.
