Aimed for Spring 2023 (which I took as May/June) and wound up delivering it two seasons early in Fall of 2022; it's incredible (especially after my experience with Anovos). The pack is looking great too

Did anyone save all those reference photos Adam Savage took of the hero prop? The Tested link seems to have broken since then. All i can find are this post with a few select photos. I can see these coming in handy now as people receive their packs.

It looks like the Hasbro Pack will need very little modification (outside of adding my Rothco frame)! I still want to weather the lenses on the cyclotron and power cell a bit, as well as some of the other elements. Depending on if it's even possible, I'd like to add a proper Fincher Technologies GB1 ribbon cable to this Pack. The one Hasbro used is good, but in a perfect world, I'd like to use the Fincher version. I'm definitely going to try and fix that Ion Arm though, so it has some more of the silver showing, as well as adding the socket screws.

This reminds me, I’ve not studied these in a long time - what frames are people using for a 84’ pack? I’m planning to convert one of my packs to an 84’ setup.

The 84 packs used real LC-1 ALICE frames, which are quickly becoming few and far between these days.

The one major thing that jumps out to me that needs to be modded (and has from the beginning) is the fabric yellow cable sheath. Hopefully it can be trimmed back.

That pack is really gonna need an amplifier, that motor is so loud. I know you can turn the motor off, but the pack doesnt even sound as loud as the wand.

Even with the volume turned all the way up?

I've been watching some of the videos from early recipients, the cable unplugs and the yellow sheath can slide off for easy replacement.

Another minor gripe - the hose coupler going into the pack, while green on the screen-used packs and even on the Hasbro prototype, seems to have ended up black in the final production piece. Not a huge deal…just curious as they had it the correct color and then purposely changed it…

In any case, these things look AMAZING! Can’t wait to see all the mods people come up with!

does anybody which Neutrik piece is used?
I found this one on Ebay, but appears to be made of plastic versus the one used on screen that appears to be made of all metal, unless painted to look like metal

Got my LC-1 frame ready to go.

What should be used for the padding on the top of the frame? Almost looks like a pool noodle lol.

If they didn't use standard pipe insulation id be very surprised. It comes with multiple interior and exterior diameters.
