I'm new to all of this costuming and modding stuff (and dumb)... I picked up the Hasbro Poe helmet recently (haven't received it yet) and it looks like the decals are already painted on... What is the intended purpose of buying new decals if they are already present on the helmet? It looks like everyone else understands the purpose, but I feel lost.

I assume the greeblies make it more detailed (and higher quality), but missing the point here on the decals. Should I be buying a set of decals or no?

For one, the paint job looks like junk and makes it look cheap. Ppl that buy this helmet, strip it down and repaint to the different variants. No just the Poe Black. And yes, the greeblies make it MUCH more accurate. If you’re happy with what you bought, that’s all that matters.
