I don't think I've ever actually seen this book in high resolution. So sadly no, we don't have any reference. It also appeared in Deathly Hallows: Part 1 in the train sequence. I think Nigel is reading it. Also the font on the top is definitely Caslon Antique. However I will ask Miraphora about this book when I meet her over the Easter time.

Good job, however the fonts are not correct ;) They used those - Antique Sans, Quadrat Grotesk, P22 Koch Signs, Type No. 2 (from Walden Font), Type No. 3.

Did you end up getting the Clipart subscription?

I downloaded bfd's Pygmy Puff tag, and he said he used the art from a tee shirt to make it. It is awesome, just not complete, so I ask if anyone has seen any photos or taken photos from any exhibit or tour of the tag. Any help would be appreciated.

I got the clock from Target. Then I took a file from rpf, in the free section, and added more detail to it. I broke off the hour hand at the end and attached a finger pointing, added the gold circles on the hour hand and one on the minuet hand. Made and attached the extras on the outside of the clock. About the beast care– That was a hard one. I took samples of images from all sorts of places, rebuilt it, added the beasts listed on the wheel from several images, and put it all together. Thanks for asking.
 
For the fans of the FILM version of the Marauder's Map, since the "Official" version being sold has been changed so much and leaves so much out, I wanted to share a couple things I stumbled across recently. First, a contributor to Instructables, who also has quite a few great tutorials and free downloadable files of Harry Potter props, has a version of the map which comes the closest to the film version that I've seen offered as a free download. His site is http://www.instructables.com/member/Muggle+Magic/ and the page for his most recent version of the map is http://www.instructables.com/id/Marauders-Map-With-Hidden-Footprints-Full-Size-Rep/ and is available in multiple print sizes. He also includes foldouts and extra "goodies" in his version, such as footprints of characters and areas that can be folded to display the message displayed when Snape looked at the map.
Second, a VFX artist names Jan Hamernik who lives in the Czech Republic has painstakingly created the closest I have EVER seen a map come to the original. His version is shown off in 2 different YouTube videos which compares his "DIY" map to the official version being sold by WB and to the various film scenes (https://youtu.be/1UzvbQmzqIY and https://youtu.be/Dq9Y1oCCOPE). He even included the fold-out stairs! You can see pictures of it on his page at http://www.jan-hamernik.com/gallery. Unfortunately his version is FAR from being free, as I learned when I recently e-mailed him about it. Since he does commissions and also sells a lot of his work online I asked him how much it would be for either a copy of his map or the files necessary to create my own and received this reply:

I'm getting a lot of emails about my replica of the Marauder's Map, so I put together this little FAQ:


1) Will you send me the files for free?
· No. We are talking about over 3 years of hard work - not only on the prop itself, but on research etc. as well. This is actually the 4th version of my replica, I started each version from scratch trying different approaches, different paper and fixing the things I missed before. This (the last) version took almost a year to finish + there are pages designed by me. I'm sure you understand I'm not going to just give it away.

2) Do you sell the files so I can print it at home?
· No. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to release the Marauder's Map digitally. Once the files are out, it's out of my control and we're back on the first answer.

3) Can you create another replica for me?
· Yes, but it's not going to be cheap. The price reflects both the work I had to put into it (answer #1), and the resources I have to put into creating another replica. Those include (among other things): special paper, glue, a lot of printer ink and a lot of time (for printing, cutting, 3D stairs, putting it all together and aging the final prop). Time is the most expensive factor here, because I'm very busy with other projects and university, so I have to work on this over nights in my free time.
· Price: 170 USD + postage (I'm from the Czech Republic, Europe) + PayPal transaction fees (if we agree on the payment through PayPal).
· By sending the payment you agree that you will not scan the map (or create pictures of it) in order to create a copy of my replica.

4) Can I also get the replica that insults Severus Snape? I've seen this version on your webpage as well.
· Yes, but it will add another 50 USD to the final price.

5) How long will it take to create another replica?
· I'm usually able to create another copy of the replica within one week.

I know Jan, and I find his version to be pretty good, although still I wouldn't call it accurate, as it's far from being so.
