Harry Potter free paper props - all movies and more!

It does sound like they are just prints of the work, more like art prints ready to be framed as opposed to actual prop replicas.

I'm a new memeber of the Therpf.
I am a fan of Harry Potter and I love this props.:love
I want to show my Hermione's notebook.Hope you liked it
 
This is my 1000th post so I thought I would be a little self indulgent (like that never happens...:lol) and post an image of my Educational Decrees I've put together over that last year or so.

These are my own copies and I really struggled putting the thumbtacks into them...but can always print more I guess.

Sorry, I will not be able to share these because I have actually sold a bunch to several people and it certainly would not be fair to them if I attached the files here.

I agree.
I was pretty sure it would be art prints since the beggining, but I was quite confident, that there would be many, many art prints... as different sections of the marauder's map, and different pages of books and daily prophets...

Too sad really.
I was expecting so much from the printorium. :(

My guess is that it is likely a copyright thing. Sure MinaLima made the stuff but they were paid for it and may not have the rights to the items to profit from them. Warner Bros probably reserves the rights so they can license the items to places like Noble, etc.

Not a copyright lawyer, just my 2 cents

That's very likely the case. It would be amazing if they could make replicas of their own props and sell them however, having worked in the entertainment industry I can say that it's all about the rights. Looks like they've been allowed some reproduction rights to some of their work and to offer them as signed prints (hence printorium), however normally when artists are tapped to work on studio projects, they normally are work for hire; the studio maintains the rights to the materials and designs. A license such as Harry Potter is tremendous for the studios. We can usually get away with making replicas here for our own enjoyment. Legally for them however, it's a completely different story.

But that doesn't mean that someday in the future the studio might grant them the rights to actually reproduce or oversee some of their props as high end prop replicas. That's a possibility.

I think (more like hope) that they might come out with more prints over time... If not I'm going to be pretty bummed out.:(
As Iwas looking through their comments another time, I saw them write "just what you see here...but there may be more later! ;o)" so the gives me a bit of hope!!

Thanks Wooze.

I did do a bit of a Filch as I put them up, swinging the ladder around and tottering (I think that's a word) a bit as I climbed to the top...luckly I didn't fall and break my ass...er leg. :lol

ps That's one of my my "Dead Prop Piles" below the proclamations.:lol

may I ask what you did for the red numbers on each decree? I haven't been able to find a font for that.
