@DasEnvy: Is all the stuff in your photo items that have been posted to this thread? 'Cause if they are, they look very nice indeed and it's a really good example of how good this stuff looks when a bunch of it is displayed together.

What is the scroll rolled up and tied with the red ribbon?

@Barneyrfd:

yep its all from this thread with the exception of the mini marauders map.

I've got this mini map from this page
Britta Blvd - The Marauders' Map

Next month i will buy new ink and make better labels for my potions and some other books.
the scroll is only a roled self-made parchment. Im doing it with black tea and I love this parchment <3

Ah and i want to overwork my bertie botts beans package i cut it in a wrong way and the paper is not strong enough to halt the beans inside xD

And again: I'm so thankful for all this great stuff, thanks! Rly!

CURFEW ORDER FROM CHAMBER OF SECRETS

While i was researching the Cheeri Owls cereal box I came across the scene in C of S where Prof McGonagall reads the curfew order to Gryffindor House and thought it would be a simple little prop to make and have.

I estimated the size to be about 11" w x 14" l which means it has to be printed on 11 x 17 paper. I just printed landscape on two 8.5 x 11 parchment paper sheets and glued them together for my prototype and it looks pretty good.

The scroll only has 7 lines on it so I used the wording that Prof McG reads instead of the wording in the book which is much more lengthy. Can't really see the font clearly but the one I used is pretty close and looks good.

Don't know if old Albus signed it or not but he was the Headmaster and I thought it was a nice touch.

The ribbon and seal finish it off nicely. But i did find out I suck at ribbon cutting :lol

EDIT: By the way, there was a 6.7 earthquake about 150 miles away from my house while I was posting this. I could feel my chair swaying for about 30 secs. No damage anyplace on Vancouver Island thankfully.

that was a clever idea! once again, it looks fantastic also. its amazing what you find when looking for something else.

I know exactly what you mean about having an earthquake. the one that hit the east coast a few weeks ago was 80 miles from me. my whole house was shaking for 20 seconds. It was the first one I had ever experienced and it freaked me out!

Yea, freaked out is a good way to describe it!! At first you don't realize what is happening and then it hits you and you have a brief moment of panic before things stop moving. Actually i found out the epi-center was only about 85 miles away.

Oh yea, glad ya liked the prop.

Can anyone tell me what is fonts are used for the polyjuice potion page? I made one but it just don't look right, I'm sure I used the wrong font???
Can anyone please help me... I need the names of both fonts used. In the title and the body of the page???

Well apparently, no ones gonna help me, so thank you very much anyway!!!!

nice barney nice, so you think it's better to use parchment paper for it?

You know wha would be nice, a tag to glue to a bowl or even a ceral kind packet that says "owl treats". Can't let them starve can we?

Hi mewmar. The parchment type paper I used I got at the local office supply store. Its not "real" parchment paper but it has a mottled look to it and is a little stiffer than regular bond paper so it gives it a nicer feel and it looks good as it crumples and crinkles. It takes the printer ink differently too, it somehow looks better than bond paper.

In your second paragraph are you talking about owl
treats for your pet? :)

well, either that or you know, when you receive post, you feed the owl that brought it. It's only fair after all. poor owl. I love owls, they're so graceful! But I like them free plus like snakes, you have to feed them mice etc. I had a picture of one that was fanmade, but I can't find it!

I did find this cute envelope though: Harry Potter Envelope | Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Re: Harry Potter free paper props - all movies and

I don't know if anyone has posted something along these lines before, but here is something I made a number of years ago that I print for bookmarks, tags and such. It's Mad-Eye's Constant Vigilance logo.
