Harry Potter free paper props - all movies and more!

Sadly, many people might have opted not to re-share files that have deactivated, due to the people that have been stealing them from the forum. Some people have come in here, downloaded the files, then started selling them on eBay and Etsy. It has gotten out of hand lately, and a lot of people stopped sharing since their hours of invested work ended stolen.

That's so disappointing, but makes a lot of sense. People can be terrible.

Oh wow! These labels are beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing! And thank you for the Duvel bottle tip! I just got mine, and can't wait to make these bottles! How did you make your pumpkin toppers/cork? Im looking for ideas!

These are crazy!! LOVE them, and absolutely love the crate! How did you make those pumpkin toppers/corks? Im looking for ideas and these look absolutely perfect!
I made mine, out of clay. But, I hope to make one from resin printing and have a screw shape in the bottle so I can stick an actual cork to make it a functional stopper.

Best I can for now hope helps :)

My apologies. It was late when I posted. The flyer has a backside to it as well. Let me see what I can find.

EDIT: I'm afraid I don't have the design files for it. I did find my reference files for the front and back of the flyer though.

Ok everybody. Looking for some help. My Wife is a massive Harry Potter fan. She has a whole room dedicated to it. And she has the normal things. Like the snitch, the nimbus 2000, hedwig, store bought stuff. What I would like to do is make her a bunch of stuff for her room from the movies. But I have no idea what to make seeing as I have no idea whats in the movies. I'm not a Harry Potter type of guy. I do make props in my spare time so Making stuff shouldn't be hard. I just don't know what's important and whats not. Nor do I know what things are supposed to look like from the movies. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'd love to make a gentle suggestion here...

A few years back, I hadn't taken any vacation time in a couple years, and I knew my wife would love it if we did something nice for a week. So I wined and dined her. It was overdue. I had about 3 weeks vacation time available, so I cashed out 2 weeks of it (my company offered that option) in order to pay for the amazing 1 week that we had. When I told her how I had pulled it off, she was moved to tears. I was mistaken, thinking the experience was going to be her favorite part. It wasn't. She told me it's because I gave her 3 full weeks of my time to make the one week special. THAT is what mattered.

So, what is my point? I think your idea is excellent. I suggest no changes there. But HOW you go about it is likely to have a far greater impact than WHAT you give her. So my suggestion is to give of your time in a way she won't expect. I suggest you watch (or re-watch) all 8 Harry Potter movies on your own. In so doing, you will master enough of the lore to know EXACTLY what you want to do and how to do it, because you'll be watching it from a prop-maker's perspective. Keep a notebook handy.

I know it's a big time commitment, but that is kind of the point. And mastering HP lore in 18-20 hours is a low cost, in my opinion. And there are ways to do it, if we try hard enough. Lunch breaks, bathroom time, it can be done! In fact, the harder it is, the more it will be appreciated. Not a Harry Potter fan? Again, that's the point! The massive steps/sacrifies you will take to find just the right things is a show of pure love. Do the work, my friend!

Doing this, not only will you better understand what's missing from her collection, but you'll understand the SIGNIFICANCE of the little things you add here and there. For example, if you knew WHY a replica of a self-playing harp/lute was important, I suspect she'll appreciate why you chose it even more than how accurate or completist it really is.

Thanks for listening to my preaching. But I firmly believe that our partners love our donations of OURSELVES more than the stuff we give them!

(And if you don't have access to the movies, PM me.)

That all said, I'll bet she doesn't have an animated Sirius Black mini-poster:

Sorry for the multiple posts...but I just realized the extra bonus of this kind of approach. She will now have a partner for life she can geek out with about the HP lore. What a massive gift!

A sign of that commitment, for example, could be that you make her one item from each movie that she doesn't have...7 or 8 items in total...there are dozens in each, shouldn't be a problem. If she knows WHY you chose each item, that makes each one twice as special.

(The as-yet unspoken hint here is that I'll bet you'll get hooked, especially around movie #3.)

Good luck!

I have all the movies, and I've seen them all repeatedly. They just really don't interest me at all. And my time is completely restrained with the amount of things going on in my life. I'm posting this here now because her birthday is in July, and thats about how long it's going to take me to get stuff done. Lol. I run a very tight schedule. Thank you for the help though.
