Harry Potter free paper props - all movies and more!

@elfstacy: ah yes...the coveted bank book. I can remember friends at school showing me their bank books and thinking, "man how cool is that, I've got to get one." It really was a big deal to have a bank book!! How times have changed :lol.

And no you can't be part of the "old guys" club. But...if you had a bank book you have to be part of the "old gals" club...:lol

I really like the deposit slip. I think I have a print out of the other design somewhere.

Great job on foil printing the ticket elfstacy, nice piece of collaboration between you and Barneyrfd

:) :) :)

Thanks for the positive comments on the Gringotts Deposit Slip and Hogwarts Ticket.

I made a couple of revisions to the deposit slip to correct a the locations of the lines opposite Galleons and Knuts so if you already downloaded it you might want to download it again.

*rfd-great job on the ticket and bank slip!!!! And just to fess up, yes I can remember when I got my first bank book :lol It was written with a quill and ink LOL. Yes, I have passed many years now from being called "Miss" to Ma'am LOL. But in all fairness, my son had a bank book too and he's only 20 LOL.

*elfstacy-love the gold foiling. I am going to have to keep my eyes open for a used foil fuser. I have a few scapbooking friends that might be able to point me in the right direction.

Just so you all know, I love all of the collaboration and friendship that we all share here. You are my favorite people to spend some time with :)

I totally agree with woozelmom, this is by far my fav thread here. In the words of Luna "It's like spending time with friends", I've edited the quote a little but the meaning stays the same.

Woozelmom, I'm glad to hear they do still give out bank books if your son has one! I love spending time on this thread too. I can't wait to check it every day and see what's new with everybody!

First off, great work everyone on all the most recent goodies. I'm totally tempted to make one of those foil things now. I've just been printing my P934 tix on this shiny silver paper. not the same, but I dont have a lot of time before the party tomorrow.

I got my kit for Klancey done. Shes got Hogwarts acceptance letters, a ticket to P934, a potions kit, a monster book of monsters, a wand and a gryffindor scarf and robe.

Not sure if I need anything else. Just gotta finish "Harry Potter Jeopardy", clean my apt a bit more and get it party ready, have the party and then maybe on Sunday I can breathe... and sleep. Cuz I'm sure not getting any of that done.

Does anyone know what the symbol for galleon looks like?

And I totally agree with everyone on this being the best thread. I'm not saying that because my name is in the title, but we've become more than just a thread. We are like our own little community. We stick up for each other. We've become friends. Some of us are even on a first name basis.

I want to thank all of you for making this one of the bigger threads on the RPF, and I think at some point, we can even make it the biggest. Until the movie, my design time is minimal, but I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. I think this thread will be here for a very long while.

Lots of Love,
Shay

This IS a great place for us of similar interests to get away from the "real world" for a while and enjoy ourselves.

Totally agree, the people on the thread are great. I look forward to visiting the thread several times a day to see what is happening or share a thought or two (which is dangerous because at my age i don't have that many left...:lol).

Hinky, don't know if this is what you are looking for but here is the front and back of a galleon coin.

I've signed my name on my posts before >_>

And no bfd, in the Weasley magazine and on the prophets they actually have little symbols (like the dollar sign or pound sign). I'm just not sure which is which

Couldn't have said it better myself, "old gal"! :lol

Rob

Hey Rob,
"Old Gal"!!! Them thars fightin' words and if I weren't just getting ready to take my nap, you would be in big trouble bud :lol

Hinky,
I am glad that you are almost done with your preparations for the party. I am sure that it is going to be a very magical event :)
