Erised nice work on that trunk! It's nice to see people are putting these props to good use and even making really nice gifts for friends and family.

I was messing around with my camera today and decided to take a collective shot of a lot of the candy props I have in my collection. Pretty cool seeing them all together!

Here's my trunk I made a few weeks ago. It's a cardboard box covered in fake leather, with gold scrapbooking paper for the gold bands, and I printed out the Hogwarts crest and stuck it on. the trunk isn't quite full size, but it is big enough to fit my Hogwarts uniform, some books and other bits and pieces.

Wow that looks great ErisedSilver! I especially love the trunk! Is it just cardboard or how did you make it?

Thanks I used a shoebox and joined the lid to the bottom to give it a sort of hinge. Then I used rolled up newspapers to round the top before papermacheing the entire thing and painting it! I added the crest, train label & painted her initials on the side to finish off!
Only flaw is the newspapers make the lid really heavy so if there's nothing inside and the lids open it just falls over! But it did give it a nice weight when she was opening it!

Thanks decat! I really love the leather idea! I wanted to put strips on mine too but I couldn't really find anything suitable!

Thanks, The chocolate frog box and exploding bon bon are among my favorites. The chocolate frog box was made by a talented member here (Monsters_05). Definitely at the top of my favorites of all potter props.

Just managed to get the Wizard Collection so once it arrives I'll try and scan the labels. I should definitely be able to do it on a weekend so if it doesn't arrive by this weekend, I'll have the scans up by next weekend. Although there have been issues with manufacturing and missing items or wrong items so I'll try and get the scans up as soon as I can.

Unfortunately I haven't worked on them yet . We might just get good scans of them soon from some of the new owners of the collection!

for those in the US, the DH 1 and 2 ultimate editions are availble from target, in one box together but appantly with everything that you would get with seprate ones. I found a website saying that there would be a wider release in Janurary. I live in Australia, but I bought one on Ebay- it was expensive but I was fed up with waiting for them to release it!
