*Elliot,
I am so glad to hear that everything is on the ups and that your mom is doing a bit better :0)

forget the honeydukes, just the blank letter with the crest. not the plain rectangle but the foldable letter so you can make an actual envelope.

@Barneyrfd: Not all those props are mine. I work with a prop group. We do a few shows a year. All the harry Potter stuff is mine and some of the star trek, pirates, doctor who, Lord of the Rings. Most of those photos are from the show that we had in March.

Then why are you here then in HP free paper props? If your not contributing your info for people to make a free replica and not making any props for yourself then it seems you are only here to stir up trouble. :unsure

Sorry but someone used the pictures I've placed in my thread to show the items, to make his own paper prop which I didn't give permission to for using the pictures. And that's why I'm still posting replies on this forum just because the other people think that if I place a photograph on this forum it is the property of everyone on this forum to use.

I was already on the junkyard before somebody used the pictures of my thread. I will not place anymore replies of the letters on this thread apart from this last one. Screenused.com has been so kind to delete the items of their website and gave me the picture right of those photographs. So if you want to replica a letter, please use a screencapture of the moviescene and not the pictures I own from this point on.

To everyone on this forum. I'm sorry this fuss (hope to spell it right) has ruined this thread. I hope the most of you will take my apology to their heart, for the others if you hate me I can understand, I don't always love myself either. I will let this matter rest from now on. For future readers, if you want to use pictures which are not your own please contact the one which has placed them on the internet if you can use them. That way a thing like this can easily be avoided.

can you have a monster book of monster ?
There is a tutorial for it somewhere on the web. thats not necessesarily a "paper"prop. try searching google, if that doesnt work, search the rpf, and if that doesnt work, make a thread about it.

To everyone else. can you make a blank envelope template with the hogwarts crest, thanks

All right, here it is a cleaned up version of the Dark arts deffence for beginners. I will send Hinkypunk the High res soon. Enjoy!

Does anyone have instruction on how to fold the face envelope, or is it the same way ass the regular hogwarts acceptance and howler letters?

Black Pepper Imps Work Files!

I went ahead and made up the labels and had them fitted approximately to that of the prop based on reference photos. Not many good photos of this prop, but the labels are fairly simple. I scanned the graphics off the film wizardry book prop box and cleaned it up. Then based on the scale of the prop pieces in the trading card scans, I was able to match the sizes to the real box. The sizes are designed to fit on the found original box base (a chinese herbal tea box. The brand name is Yuen Kut Lam, I believe based in Hong Kong but they retail their stuff in a few places here in the US)

Original box can be found here on amazon: Amazon.com: Yuen Kut Lam's Kam Wo Char: Health & Personal Care

Some references I found on google images. and a small scan from the wizardry book. Notice the large honeydukes logo on the front of the box, far left image (hard to see the logo since I blew it up, but it's there) The scale of that logo was also determined from the prop swatch found in the trading card and matches up quite well.

@ Bruce, awesome work, this has been on my list to do for ages, thanks so much, I've always liked this book. It reminds me of the Dick & Dora books we read in school when I was very young, I think in USA they called them Dick & Jane. We read the same book that Popeye finds in the treasure chest at the end of the live action film, in case it was of interest to anyone :)

@ ecl, great find on the herbal tea box and great work on the labels I look forward to seeing your finished product.

Nice to see that we are back on track with free paper props, Go Team, Go!

P.S. Bruce, I really like the fact that you caught the cat overlap problem thats on the book the kids are holding that was on the original prop and fixed it :) Not sure if it's just me but on the back blurb 'theauthors' has no space, unless thats meant to be like that cause we know HP like to put in their little error's.
