You could make it a wearable suit without helmet, or if you have a small head, get a helmet just bigger than the drones head. Displaying it with a normal size head could also be done. This is quite a nice thing to build if there are files for it.
The drone body is also the base for the mark 2 whiplash armor.
It will need a modified collar, iron loin cloth(?) and a whip assembly.
And of course the helmet.
Would be nice to see some drones at the conventions to keep the war machines and mark VI's at bay haha
One simple way around the issue of the head being too small (or large depending on your perspective) is to simply scale the body up a bit so that a regular human sized head/helmet would look small in comparison. I forget how large the Hammer drones were but iirc they were larger than a human at around 7' - 9' tall, if that's the case then scaling up would add more authenticity and make you seem more intimidating.
Bigtuc thanks for the pic!! hopefully we will be able to get so pep files made know and start building. The cool thing about these pep files is you can build to wear or display, and I am starting to wonder if some builds can be merged with others so you can have your own custom look. mixing ironman with vador or jango feit with a hammer drone. I'm thinking the possiblitys could be very interesting.
any thoughts anybody??
Just being a bit selfish here, but if a pep file of this would be done, it could give guys like me (out of shape and bulky in the middle) something to wear...especially if the original head were added, not the drone heads....just thinking....
Here's the links I put in EyeofSauron's thread since there was talk of making a hammer drone model there as well. I also put a link to this thread in that thread a few days ago to help you out. HOWEVER I think you might've found alot of the same pics they did, and ceertainly alot of promo/art shots they didn't have, BUT the first link is good for screencaps of the movie for what its worth.
Cool idea terryr, Maybe when we get this going you can lead off on that build.
Thanks shoujoaifan for the pics and the post the more the marrieor!! Take all the pics and help I can get!!! You guys rock!
Check out these awesome Tiger & Bunny peps! You might be able to use the chest file for the basic shape of a Hammer Drone chest, just cut out a hole for a light.
Or maybe you can do the method they use in headless costumes. Make the drones collar up the person ear then make a screen or a mesh in front of the collar for them to see. So you can make the drone helmet smaller because you're going to wear it on top of your head. If hope you understand what i'm trying to say. hehehe
