Halo 4 undersuit material

Hey RPF users, I have been doing a halo 4 master chief build on the 405th, and i have developed a way of making the undersuit material. This is going to be a thread with my progress on the material/undersuit when i get around to it. My only limitation is that i am getting taller, so i am reluctant to start something that i might not even fit me. Well enough of my explaination, here is my current progress
Initailly i started with extruded polystyrene, and did this

Then it was carved with my dremel with my router attachement

I thought that was too big, so i did this one

KEEP IN MIND THAT EACH OF THESE HEXAGONS ARE HAND CARVED WITH GRAPH PAPER AS REFERENCE


I decided that i needed to go even smaller, and this is what i ended up with


Then i made a plaster mold and this is compared to the original

I am now contemplating what material to cast this in, any feedback is appreciated

Depends what you are exspecting out of it and wether it is a Con piece or just for display. I mean Rubber, Latex are just a start but i hope this helps!

I am intending this as a con peice as the material i make my undersuit out of for my halo 4 master chief. I am still researching the different characteristics of the different materials.
