Halo 4 Master Chief WIP

well after a few months of hibernation I got off my lazy ***** and started working on my helmet again

I'm happy to say that I'm almost done. Still cleaning up and being very nit picky. I'm thinking another week or two and I'll be happy with it and I can finally mold it. any missing details I have made and set aside I'm saving those for last

status I've been working on it pretty frequently when I installed the visor to get it ready for the mold I noticed a few small things that i couldn't just ignore... ( literally couldn't sleep because of it) So i had to do some pretty drastic alterations to the front.. i guess you would call it the mouth/breather plate was slightly slanted but I've fixed that and a few other small things. My friends say I'm being crazy but i can't help it. Next weekend I should have it molded and start pumping them out. Also decided to vac form some accurate visors for it too. no point in putting all that work into it to half ass it with a crappy visor so that's next on my list.

Busy couple of weeks I Finally had a day I could sit down and throw up some new pics. I know I've said I was done like three times through out this thread and missed countless personal deadlines but I think it was all for the best
I decided to put every detail i could see on my reference pictures on the helmet ( besides battle wear ) I'm pretty sure there isn't really anything else i can add. all that's left is a little spot putty action primer and some fine sanding.. Here's a what I'm working with right now

Wow I totally forgot to put the notches that go on the back of the sides if that makes any sense....easily fix.. uuuuughhhhhh
I boxed all the new little tang tangs I add from the last time I posted a photo

It's a little roughed up since I cut up and reworked a lot of the front of the face so the visor would sit better and with would be more symmetric... I'm building a CNC right now so I never have to use pep again so i can avoid all that fun stuff in the future

(y)thumbsup(y)thumbsup(y)thumbsup(y)thumbsup(y)thumbsup(y)thumbsup(y)thumbsup

That's all I got.... can't say enough how great this helmet looks.

It's always nice to see someone take the time to do the little details, and to be painstaking in their accuracy and attention. Very nicely done sir.
