Yup, and just watching a lot of the cut scenes you get very good ref pics too! Not to mention for his entire body once you work on that too. :cool

Loving the work and care you're putting into this. I'm hesitant to ask, but what are the chances you might do a run of this helmet when it's completed?

The only problem with that helmet pep file is that it's significantly distorted. I mean the 3D model, not your work - it's shorter and taller for a start and I'm sure there are some other smaller problems there too.
So it's not going to be as accurate as you could make it from a proper source file, even though you're obviously pretty skilled

Perhaps 343 is going to release the concept artwork with ortho images in time, and then someone can fix the proportions of the pep file's 3D model... Until then most Halo 4 Master Chief helmets will remain to be inaccurate.

Yeah i was already aware and I almost cut the helmet up into piece and reassembled it for more accurate proportions but I'm not that worried about it. for the costuming and random dumb ***** I plan on doing with it it will get the job done :lol

I'm gonna mold it and pop a few out so if anyone is interested in one there's no reason i couldn't send one your way.. I plan on making molds of the full armor so that's always a possibility too

I was wondering the same thing..thanks for the info I'll probably add that to my personal helmet but not to the master for the mold.

Would be fun to add a chip then aswell saying 'cortana'. Maybe have it 'functional' and able to put it in and out.

May I Ask Which pep you used? Theres a few in those files and some look a little intricate to use just tape with. Excellent build... Keep it up

I used the simplified Harnor helemt pep
