Green Lantern ring Superman cartoon

Hello,


I'm new to this forum and I was wondering if there's anyone here who would be kind enough to give me a hand. I tried my hand at creating the Green Lantern ring seen in "The Superman Animated Series" episode "In Brightest Day..."

using Google Sketchup. It came out looking pretty accurate:

But now I'm stuck. I tried uploading it to the website Shapeways but it says its too big and that it has some errors. I don't know where to go from here and I've tried using the programs that the Shapeways website suggested but with no luck. Is there anyone with any knowledge of this who could help me out..?
