Limited Run Graflex 2.0 and Crossguard saber run - sign up thread

Use a hair dryer or heat gun and try to warm up the adhesive so you can pull the grips off, don't heat it up so much that you warp the grips though.

Ok thank you I got the grips off and have peeled off the old adhesive. So will pop by the hardware store to get some more adhesive.
In the process off pulling the grips off I took off some of the metal finish FML!!!! I'm such a ******* now it all looks like **** :(

You took it off @Sloth? Sure it isn't just some adhesive residue?

Yeah it came off now I have a bare patch. There was some silver on the adhesive as well :cry Also scratched the tube pulling it out to reverse it.... maybe it will just end up looking like a weathered ESB :(

That sucks! Well maybe you can do some weathering for some battle damage on it. I mean after all.. it's been through generations from the films. I just ordered mine yesterday.. my first one!

Got my cross guard in. Looks great. ITs smaller than i thought. Probably just acustomed to how big the black series FX is. Great work.

Received the 2.0 saber as well as the Kylo saber. Really happy with both of them.

They are supposed to be brushed aluminum, I hope they are not plated. I don't want mine to chip.

I was thinkinf the same thing. These being plated was not in the specs. Granted actual graflexes were nickel plated brass.

I believe Korbanth mentioned a delay in the initial batch because the manufacturer was fixing an inconsistency in the "finish" on the graflexes.

Edit: He mentioned it in the FX-Sabers forums, not sure about here
